RENEWABLE ENERGY CAMPAIGNER

Fairbanks Climate Action Coalition seeks a dynamic and highly motivated individual to advance our coalition’s commitment to increasing renewable energy opportunities and creating space for community leadership and volunteer opportunities in the Interior of Alaska. The Renewable Energy Campaigner will focus on the areas of GVEA carbon reduction policies, decommissioning of Healy 1 and support FCAC’s Renewable Energy Working Group.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in most or all of the following areas: grassroots organizing, renewable energy systems, communications, local government, advocacy, popular education theory, volunteer management, and social equity. Experience in collaborative work models is a must. This campaign position has the potential for growth with the organization and would be a part of a supportive, passionate, and dynamic team.
