Show solidarity with the Gwich'in people and other Alaskans in their stand to protect the "Sacred Place Where Life Begins" in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. All who are concerned are invited to meet at Golden Heart Park at 5:30 pm on Monday, November 27th, for a candlelight vigil. After a brief prayer of welcome participants will walk to St Matthew's Episcopal Church and gather in warmth for prayers for the protection of this sacred place. Bring a candle in a jar or a flashlight, dress warmly, and have a prayer in your heart. This is organized by the Interfaith Working Group of the Fairbanks Climate Action Coalition.
